Many of us has heard of the growing problem of bullying in schools. You may have heard about the new movie coming out about the damaging effects of bullying called Bully. In Lord of the Flies William Golding creates characters that are bullied and are bullies. Although he takes the bullying to extremes, there is no doubt that bullying is a bad thing in his novel.

How does bullying affect characters in the novel Lord of the Flies? What are bullies like? Why do you think the bullies act the way they do? How do the bullies affect others?
